Capitol Retirement Village is operated under the HUD 202 PRAC program and is specifically designed with seniors’ comfort in mind.
Admission
Under this program, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has limited admission to this facility to those who are 62 years or older. (Four apartments have wheelchair accessibility features.) In addition, you must be in the “very low” annual income group, currently defined by HUD as follows:
Single: Annual gross income of $40,150.00 or below
Couple: Annual gross income of $45,900.00 or below
Your income includes Social Security, pensions, annuities, etc., as well as income from employment, rental income, and any interest you collect on your assets. Your rent is calculated at 30% of your adjusted income.
